Come and take part in a series of art and technology organised in conjunction with our new exhibition PICO: Un Parlante de Africa en América. In these sessions we will be designing and building an online showcasing platform for exhibiting your artwork and designs. Workshops will focus on website design and explore alternative models for exhibiting and reaching audiences. Participants will explore the work of artists and technologists engaging with experimental new media and have opportunities to discuss a range of issues arising from digital media and new technologies.
Workshops are open to young people ages 14 – 18 interested in art and design. More information on our offer for younger audiences is available on our website on the Young Artists Programme page.
These workshops have been made possible with the support of The National Lottery Community Fund, Tower Hamlets Art and Music Education Services, Tower Hamlets Council Local Community Fund 2019-23, and the US Embassy in London. Young Artists Programme is delivered in collaboration with Black Shuck.
