Come and take in a series of art and technology workshops organised in conjunction with our new exhibition Tender rip. In these sessions we will be exploring filmmaking and video art through the technology of mobile phone cameras. These workshops will explore the creative possibilities of everyday technologies and look at the 2015 film Tangerine, that was shot on an iPhone. In the workshops participants will create their own films using mobile phones looking at cinematography, script writing and video editing and explore the Queer and trans conversations raised throughout the exhibition Tender rip.
Workshops are open to young people ages 14 – 18 interested in art and design. More information on our offer for younger audiences is available on our website on the Young Artists Programme page.
These workshops have been made possible with the support of The National Lottery Community Fund and Tower Hamlets Art and Music Education Services. Young Artists Programme is delivered in collaboration with Black Shuck.
