Growing Wild is an exhibition and newly commissioned moving-image work by British, Berlin-based artist Rob Crosse. The work offers an intimate portrait of the residents of one of the first and largest multi-generational TLGBQIA+ housing projects in Europe, established in 2023. Looking at the fabric of everyday life within such housing development, it invites us to question the premises on which such initiatives are formed, who bears responsibility for creating and nurturing these social ecosystems, and how such intentional forms of inhabitation affect the well-being of the people who live within them.
