Look into the unknown, seek new spaces of work, leisure and lifestyle and connect through branding, high-res imagery and spam. Embrace a proposal for a productivity consultant and creative collaborator who offers assistance beyond the everyday. Employ a body double – a stand in. Your public face is no longer your concern – live your life and let us do the hard work so you don’t have to. Meet Z. Meet yourself. Feel the Future.

The Future is Full of Opportunities is a new project by Auto Italia in collaboration with Theo Cook, Pablo Jones-Soler and Michael Oswell taking the form of a billboard installed in Amstel Park in Amsterdam as part of Kunstvlaai. The site-specific commission is presented alongside Spaces in Dialogue, a three-day programme of round-table discussions between the participants over three themed sessions, Space and Context, The Positioning of the Art(ist-Run) Initiative, and The Different Manifestations of the Art(ist-Run) Initiative.

Kunstvlaai is a multi-day celebration of art(ist-run) initiatives. Every two years, Kunstvlaai provides initiatives with a platform to meet, discuss, and exchange ideas. This tenth edition takes place in the Amstelpark, an extensive park in Amsterdam. Critical engagement with space and alternative approaches to production and exhibition formats are central for Kunstvlaai 2014, corresponding to its unconventional location.

Kunstvlaai is a platform for experimental art practices; taking place every two years and creating a platform to meet, discuss, and exchange ideas. This tenth edition takes place in the Amstelpark, one of the city’s largest parks – with contributors encouraged to engage with alternative approaches to production and exhibition formats in this unusual context.
