Auto Italia presents the UK launch of Jim C. Nedd’s monograph ‘Remembering Songs’ in partnership with Tenderbooks on Tuesday 6 February, 6-8pm.

‘Remembering Songs’ is a compilation of photography exploring vivid, theatrical scenes of ceremonies and convivial environments across Colombia. Including parties, carnivals and other festivals, ‘Remembering Songs’ evokes the Latin American narrative tradition of magical realism. The monograph includes an introduction by Beatriz E. Balanta and an interview with the artist by Octavia Bürgel.

The event will include a conversation between artists Jim C. Nedd and Bernice Mulenga and a specially conceived installation at Tenderbooks, 6 Cecil Court, London, WC2N 4HE.

Remembering Songs is a PAN Monograph. The project additionally received support from the Italian Cultural Institute of Bogotà.
