Join us for an exclusive breakfast preview of our upcoming exhibition Army of Love, by Ingo Niermann and Alexa Karolinski. The event will be led by curator, writer, art historian and Director of the Art Institute at the FHNW Academy of Arts and Design in Basel, Chus Martinez. She will offer a tour through the exhibition, sharing personal reflections and wider contextual thoughts on the works. It will be an opportunity to discuss the work with the artists and hear more about the upcoming programme from the Auto Italia team.

Chus Martinez (b. 1972, Spain) is a curator, art historian and writer with a background in art history and philosophy. She is currently Director of the Art Institute at the FHNW Academy of Arts and Design in Basel. She was chief curator at El Museo del Barrio, New York (2012-14), a member of the core agent group for DOCUMENTA(13), Kassel; chief curator at the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (2008-10); director of the Frankfurter Kunstverein, Frankfurt (2005-08); and artistic director at Sala Rekalde, Bilbao (2002-05).
