Join us on 28 March at 2pm for a conversation between Mariam Elnozahy (curator), Zahra Malkani (artist and researcher) and Syma Tariq (researcher, writer and sound practitioner).

Mariam, Zahra and Syma will discuss their shared areas of research and long-standing collaborative practices. Syma Tariq will speak broadly about her practice-based research into sound, archives and post/coloniality and the thinking behind the Metal on Metal programme. Zahra Malkani shares insights into her exhibition, Noorani Metal Sound and her ongoing research into ecological resistance movements and feminist aural practices, exploring the intersections of the sonic and the sacred across Pakistan’s heavily exploited coastal and delta regions.
