Auto Italia is seeking to recruit a dynamic and production-focused individual as the gallery’s new Project Assistant. The post holder will work closely with the Curator: Exhibitions and the Curator: Public Programmes to provide administrative and operational support across a wide range of the gallery’s artistic and engagement activities, contributing to the successful delivery of our artistic vision and mission.

The Project Assistant will join Auto Italia at a pivotal moment in our history as we seek to make transformative next steps. Over the past fifteen years the gallery has developed a sector leadership role championing experimental approaches to artist-led institution building, providing vital infrastructure for artists and audiences to co-produce work investigating expanded ideas of community, identity and belonging.

The Project Assistant offers an opportunity to be a part of this developing vision and to advance your professional skills and experiences within a highly ambitious young arts dedicated to radical practices. The role is an excellent opportunity for an individual in the early stages of their career passionate about contemporary art, and will provide hands-on experience working in a gallery at the heart of London’s non-profit gallery scene.
