I have currently been fascinated by the ‘making of’ film or the EPK as it is professionally known; were a small crew is employed on set to produce a short film for press purposes usually used in the DVD extras. I have been particularly interested in female family members (wives, daughters, sisters) who occupy this role, crossing the line with home video, and reportage documentary styles, to provide a behind the scenes insight to the power politics within film production.
