Got 2 B On Coping - final episode

Got 2 B …., a programme in series, presented by Emily Pope and Ruth Angel Edwards, artists who explore the over-proliferation of populist conversation and music through collaborative sound-work. This month, the programme was developed over three days spent working in Liverpool, with Auto Italia at the Royal Standard, as part of On Coping: A Reading For Liverpool.

The final episode in the On Coping series uses music by Liverpudlian artists, along with spoken word, to investigate the impact of positive and negative networks in modern life – what does it mean to support another person? This discussion is the result of a visit to the Central Perk cafe in Liverpool, where the artists observed groups of people singing ‘I’ll be there for you’, whilst drinking milkshake.
